New headquarters in Nocatee for MDI Holdings Inc. reflects company’s success
PONTE VEDRA — Ponte Vedra-based MDI Holdings Inc. is a rising star for Northeast Florida, topping sales of $150 million last year and adding about 10 new employees per month.
It is also the newest corporate resident of the master-planned community Nocatee and is enjoying room to grow with a view of the pristine woodlands surrounding its new $20 million headquarters. The company last week celebrated the opening of its new 17-acre home base, which houses state-of-the-art information technology systems and a large collection of historical and local artwork.
It’s an impressive structure for the 17-year-old company, which in 2003 relocated to Ponte Vedra Beach from Virginia before moving into the new facility in December. The three story, 100,000-square-foot building houses 200-plus employees and three subsidiaries — MDI Government Healthcare Services, which provides health care administration to government correctional services; Reassure Technologies International, which audits insurance claims to identify and recover overpayments; and Medical Partners of America, which builds custom provider networks for self-insured companies.
